EMPLOYMENT

12/98 to Present - Omni Computer Center, Regional Computer Manager, Network Administrator. In charge of all facets of computer operations for local customers, business networks, regional ISP locations, and network operations. Continued work with all Windows operating system, Linux, Network administration, Web Server administration, and Email administration, and all facets of Internet, Intranet, LAN and WAN based network setup, wiring, and management. Management of daily schedules, logs, accounts, customer assistance and customer relations. Control of multiple location ISP in Northern Arizona, Utah and New Mexico. Setup and maintenance of local and remote sites, billing and maintenance of customer records. Setup and maintain broadband, wireless Internet in local and surrounding areas with planned expansion for more remote areas including VOIP access.

11/96 to 12/98 - Computerbay, Technical Department Manager. In charge of day to day operation of technical department. Repair and upgrade of Personal Computers. Working and repair knowledge of Windows 3.X, Windows 95, Windows 98. Windows NT and all facets of the personal computers. Network administration, Web Server administration, and Email administration, and all facets of Internet, Intranet, LAN and WAN based network setup, wiring, and management. Management of daily schedules, logs, accounts, customer assistance and customer relations.

3/96 to 10/96 - Goodnet, ISP Technician. Working knowledge with Internet Service, connection, trouble- shooting and setup. Specialist in the use and troubleshooting of Windows 3.x and Windows 95. Versed in use and setup of Mac System 7. Working knowledge of Windows NT 4.0. Customer service including assisting users in establishing a connection, troubleshooting their home computer, and assisting connection to provider service. Extensive customer relations and complaint handling, and general promotions and customer satisfaction issues.

4/95 to 2/96 - Broadway Distribution Center, Data Analysis Technician. Involved in retrieval and assimilation of data. Problem solving and formatting of data into reports to improve the operations of the entire Distribution Center. Major reports dealing with productivity, wages, inventory and merchandise flow. Other reports created as needed. In charge of inventory physical count and all personnel involved in all phases of inventory. Worked directly with division head in solving daily production problems. Other duties included management of company's computer resources, updating and repairing computer equipment, and preparing documents for external use.

1/93 to 11/98 - JS Computing Consultants, owner, technician. Involved in all aspects of microcomputer repair, upgrading, and building. Significant experience with Intel 86 series micro processors. Customer training and technical support of installed, upgraded, and current systems. Management support of business finances, logistics, and strategic planning.

9/92 to 1/93 - Kelly Temporary Services, assigned to Allied Signal Aerospace, Air supply Division. Worked on upgrading computer hardware and software and installing new systems.

7/92 to 9/92 - Western Temporary, assigned to American Express Corporation, assignments included microfilm data recovery, microfilm storage, and data entry; numeric and text.

7/90 to 5/91 - America West Airlines:
  • Baggage Service Representative - Baggage Service Representative - experience with System 1 computer system, locate and distribute lost or stolen baggage, transfer found luggage to passengers location, and keep inventory and paperwork associated with company guidelines.
    Passenger Service - responsible for unaccompanied minors, misconnect passengers, reservations, and public relations.

3/90 to 10/92 - United States Naval Reserves - Patrol Squadron Sixty Five, Avionics Department, Point Mugu, CA, promoted to Avionics Technician Second Class Petty Officer (E-5). Training in use and repair and trouble shooting of avionics equipment.

3/87-3/90 - United States Navy Active Duty:
  • Patrol Squadron Six, Line Division Supervisor - Stationed; NAS Moffet Field, NAS Adak, AK, CA, NAS Cubi Point, Philippines, NAS Barbers Point, HI - Promoted to Petty Officer Third Class (E-4), Aviation Antisubmarine Warfare Electrician Technician - responsible for squadron's nine (9) aircraft, supervision and deployment of six (6) personnel, handling and maintaining aircraft support equipment, and repair of aircraft radar, radio, computer, and guidance systems.
    Line Division - launch and recovery of aircraft, maintenance of support equipment, corrosion prevention of P-3A, B, C, and C-130 aircraft, and training for promotion.
    Communication Department - drafting, formatting, typing, and dissemination of classified information and equipment, and assisting Commanding Officer and Executive Officer with office procedures.
    First Lt. Division - maintenance and repair of squadron spaces, security of all base aircraft, and in charge of squadron's coffee mess
    Patrol Squadron Thirty-one - Student - Training for maintenance and repair of P-3B aircraft, and general maintenance of hangar and barracks.
